Terms of Use

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Welcome to the AI Trust Score, built by The 90% Code. By using this tool, you agree to these terms. Here they are, in plain language.

1. Who owns what

The AI Trust Score — the assessment itself, the scoring engine behind it, the reports and strategies it generates for you, and the names "The 90% Code," "AI Trust Score," and "AI Trust Assessment" — is the intellectual property of Sonali Sharma and The 90% Code.

One distinction worth being clear about: the underlying framework is published as an open working paper under a CC-BY-4.0 license, which means anyone can use, share, and build on the ideas in that paper as long as they credit the source. This tool is different. The assessment itself, the reports it generates, the strategies inside those reports, and the branding are proprietary — they are not covered by that open license.

2. What you can do

You're welcome to use this tool and your own Trust Profile and report for your own assessment, decision-making, and internal use.

If you're a consultant or practitioner, you can apply the framework in your work with your own clients — that's exactly what it's for. All we ask is that you credit "The 90% Code" and link back to the source paper: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20671478.

3. What you can't do

You may not:

  • Rebrand, resell, repackage, or white-label this tool, its reports, or its strategies as your own product or service
  • Build a derivative, clone, or competing assessment tool or service based on it
  • Remove or obscure attribution to The 90% Code
  • Scrape or bulk-extract its content
  • Use its content to train a competing model or tool

If you're interested in a licensing, partnership, or integration conversation instead, reach out — we're open to that discussion. What we're protecting against is unattributed use of the work.

4. This is a pilot

The AI Trust Score is currently in pilot. It's provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. The Trust Score is a diagnostic designed to support your judgment — it is not a certification, and it is not legal, compliance, or professional advice. Use it as one input into your own decision-making, not a substitute for it.

5. Your data

The email and assessment responses you provide are used to deliver your report and to improve the tool. All of this is handled under our Privacy Policy. During the pilot period, feedback you share with us may also be used to refine the underlying framework.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the tool evolves. If you have questions, reach out at admin@the90code.com.
